I was a bit skeptical at first but this really has been a game changer for my clingy 6 month old. Even though it’s not a hands free carrier, it completely takes the weight/pressure off my overused neck and shoulders. The price of this hip surfer is much cheaper than the regular osteo I was needing for my neck and shoulders. My baby loves to be on the hip surfer facing me when he wants to be close, and facing out when he wants to see everything, like at the zoo. We love it!

I purchased this for my daughter and grandson, and my daughter is very happy with it. I have also used it and found it gave me excellent back support, and certainly relieved aching arms when carrying the bub.
I definitely recommend this product.

I’m not exaggerating this product has been an absolute GOD SEND. 🫶🏼🥰😍Thank you to the founder for inventing such an innovative device. To be able to comfortably cook dinner with my baby on my hip, jump in the car with my wallet & phone already in the pocket to run to do errands & just generally multi task around the house whilst my baby is in one of those sooky or teething moods. It has allowed me freedom again, instead of listening to baby cry or be stuck in a room comforting him, he can be close and comforted by me & I can still complete all my tasks.
When I’m out I also receive so many compliments. The vegan leather looks fashionable & sleek.

We have recently purchased two HipSurfer's to use in our creche and they have made such a big difference! We constantly hold babies for long periods of time, and since using the HipSurfers, staff have advised that their core feels much more supported and they no longer experience lower back soreness after working the creche.

I honestly don't know what I did without my hipsurfer!
It arrived Friday (1st may) and have used it multiple times everyday since! Life changing! My little girl isn't super heavy yet but it makes the world of difference already.

I have been through carriers, strollers, trikes and prams... my little one just hates being restrained and is too impatient for any straps or supports! The Hipsurfer has answered my prayers. It's compact so I can leave it in the car, easily pop it on and off and my daughter can be up and down as much as she pleases. It's used almost every day, and is easily interchangeable between caregivers as it's a simple waist belt. Depending on the activity, my daughter can also sit outward facing. It's drastically reduced the pain I was experiencing from lugging her around!

I can fit my keys, phone, pocket wipes, a small container of snacks, hat and best of all - my daughter's water bottle. The attention to detail too... a small ring to attach a carabiner was chef's kiss! I was a little nervous it'd be a bit too clunky considering all the storage, but it isn't in the way at all. It almost feels like I'm just wearing a cute bum-bag when she's not in it! And the purple/teal design is so fun.

I am often one to look for a deal and explored the options of generic carriers from Amazon/Ali Express, etc. which were much cheaper, but I am SO glad I spent the money on this quality, well-thought out product. It is crystal clear this was designed by parents, for parents. I have nothing but great things to say! Thank you Hackerlily!

Baby and I LOVE our hipsurfer. Ducking into the shops for the odd grocery, taking a hose to the garden, picking up a coffee.. gone are the days of having to whip out the entire pram set up for a quick in/out or calculate if you can make the trip with hanging bub off ya hipbone hoping its not going to affect your long term health (or theirs.) Honestly such a good investment.

I ca easily support him while breastfeeding when I’m out and about, my back pain has gone after 2 weeks of using it instead of carrying his weight without, which I’m so surprised about because the pain felt like it would never leave! I love being able to ditch the pram for in and outs at the shops and he gets so much attention, so does the carrier!

So very helpful for anyone who has a baby wanting up all the time but doesn't want to be constricted. I love that I can hold my baby facing me or facing out, and that my partner can use it too! He loves it as well. So great that it folds compactly and fits under my pram without taking the whole space. Since wearing it I've seen many other mums eyeing it off when we use it. Also, my small reusable coffee mug (like a Yeti mug) fits in the hidden mesh bottle holder 🤗 just saying

We recently received 2 Hipsurfers for our early years settings. These are game chargers! We could not be more grateful for them.
They help to reduce the load on educators bodies when holding children. They also have such handy pockets for all those dummies!

Initially I was going to wait until our daughter was a little older and self-supporting her head before we got a hip surfer, because I (incorrectly) thought that's when we'd start to get the most use. Then the spectacularly 90s purple and teal corduroy version went on sale and I decided to take advantage. I'm so glad we didn't wait and started using it soon as it arrived when she was still only 7 weeks old. It's now our favourite way to feed alfresco. When we're out and about, I don't have to battle with trying to fit her optimal position into whatever (often not feeding friendly) seat is available while she's getting impatient; I still have a hand free for much needed snack/caffeine consumption; and even though I'm standing I'm in a much better position for my back, neck, shoulders, wrists everything! I'm also using it at home- we had friends over for a board game night and I didn't have to leave the table to go sit alone in our usual feeding spot AND I could still roll the dice myself! For everyday impromptu carrying it's so much easier e.g. if I need to go to the bathroom I can just hand her over or put her somewhere safe without having to faff with getting her in/out of a traditional carrier, and if I need to take the surfer off  it's the work of a moment. I'm using it more everyday as our daughter grows and I keep learning new uses for it!

I absolutely love and use my HipSurfer every single day with my active toddler. It is so handy for traveling or day to day. It lets me do quick up and down with my active high energy toddler. The leather quality is amazing, so easy to clean, used it everyday for months and it still looks good as new. I previously own a cheap brand, it doesn't clean as well, is bulky and not as supportive. Also love the washable covers that you can get with the Hipsurfer. Hackerlily is worth its value, highly recommend!

Living interstate with no family help or daycare this has been an absolute game changer for me with my very clingy 18 month old! He is constantly wanting to be held or picked up, at home and at the shops, and I cant tell you how much easier it is to parent my three other children with both my hands and no strain on my back. I have a very clingy 8 month old who likes to be held all day long, but I have nerve damage in my shoulder from carrying previous children, so this has really been fantastic at taking the weight off when holding baby. I also love how quick and easy it is to put on, and that myself and baby don’t get too hot wearing it either, which is an issue I’ve had with different carriers that I used before this, plus it’s so comfortable. Love it!
