I’ve been eyeing the Hip Surfer from Hacker Lily for over a year, and I’m so glad I finally bought one. Over the Christmas holidays I was in Sydney and saw another mum using it. She absolutely raved about it, and that’s what finally convinced me to take the plunge — and now I completely understand the hype.

It is honestly worth every dollar. The quality and design are incredible, and it has made such a difference when I’m out with my son. He loves walking everywhere, but when those little legs get tired, the Hip Surfer makes carrying him so easy and comfortable.

On top of that, the customer service from the owner is beyond exceptional. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and stands behind her product. Supporting a small business with this level of service and such a brilliant product makes it even more special.

I’ve been using the Hackerlily HipSurfer for about a year now and I can honestly say I’m obsessed with it. I genuinely feel like I couldn’t live without it anymore.

My baby uses it almost every day and it has made my life so much easier. I use it for everything, quick errands, travelling, walks, and even daily school drop-offs and pick-ups with the kids. It’s perfect when you need to carry your baby but still stay mobile and hands-free.

The quality is amazing and the design is so well thought out. Every pocket is incredibly useful. I can fit nappies, snacks, sunglasses, water bottles, car keys, and even extra clothes. It’s basically like having a bag and a baby carrier in one.

I’ve travelled with it to New Zealand and the United States and I get compliments all the time. People often ask where I got it and I always recommend Hackerlily. It also looks really stylish and works with casual outfits or even when you’re a bit more dressed up.

I also have tendonitis, and this HipSurfer has helped reduce the strain on my arms and back so much. It’s honestly been a lifesaver. I can even breastfeed my baby while walking when we’re sightseeing or out and about.

I also have a 3+ year old who still loves cuddles like his younger brother, and the HipSurfer has been incredibly useful with him too.

I’ve recommended it to my family in the US and friends here in Australia. If you’re a parent looking for something practical, stylish, and genuinely helpful for everyday life, this is absolutely worth it.

If you are a grandparent or about to become one, I would definitely recommend the Hackerlily hipsurfer. I bought one 2 years ago & use it weekly when visiting my grandchild. It takes the strain off my neck & shoulders & makes it much easier to handle the
" Nana, up", "Nana, down" toddler stage & also meant I could carry comfortably for longer during the baby stage. I love it so much that I bought one for a friend in the UK recently, as she will be a grandma very soon. It is well constructed and keeps your precious little one, & yourself, feeling secure. Pockets for phone, keys, wipes, nappies etc mean you can go out without more bulky bags. I love it & feel it is a great product.

My baby is 9 months old and is starting to get quite heavy, not to mention, mobile! We love how easy it is to change her position on the HipSurfer, pick up and put down, but also very comfortably walk about town, the shops or home without constantly readjusting her to save our backs/arms. The difference in weight when holding her without the HipSurfer, or even when using our other carriers, is incredible. I’ve managed to potter around town for hours without feeling the usual strain across my shoulders or uneven weight distribution. I’m really looking forward to using it even more in the summer and as she grows.

The hand sanitiser is a cute little touch and so handy to have hanging off my HipSurfer!

So thrilled with this purchased! This would have saved me first time around but at least I get to have the support with my fourth baby! I barely buy new baby products any more but this is a must! So great for school drop offs and pick ups. Stood today at a swimming carnival for hours with baby on hip feeling totally supported. Then he fell asleep! He curled his head into my elbow while the hip surfer supported his bottom and legs. It’s just brilliant. Can’t wait to take this with us for Euro summer this year. Very happy customer. Great gift for a new mama! Love the tan. It’s so nice.

Received my HipSurfer within 3 business days and just had to try it with my 5 month old (he’s almost 8.5kg). I have arthritis in my back & neck after separate incidents, so struggle a lot with a baby. I popped this on (so easy) and WOW! So comfy and my little boy loved it. Feeding is easy too. I can’t wait to try it out & about it. Love it! Thank you!

this carrier has actually exceeded my expectations. i’ve tried every kind of carrier, and have at least 5 different types at home that i hardly use. yesterday bub and i spent the afternoon at the art gallery and didn’t even take the pram. it’s genuinely so freeing to just have your baby and the bare essentials in arms reach. he was comfy, i was comfy. incredible. today we went on a 1.5hr forest hike (one of my fav walks that i haven’t been able to take baby on for months bc it’s not pram suitable and he got too heavy for me to carry after like, 5 months lol) i was planning ahead for a shorter walk, thinking i might not withstand his weight combined with all the hills and stuff to climb over. it was a breeze. i was waiting for the back pain to start, but absolutely zero. i was more comfortable than i’d felt in months. i am such a huge fan, i will tell anyone to get it. i am kicking myself at how long i waited to get one.

Honestly couldn’t recommend this more, I use it nearly everyday and it takes 10 seconds to put on. It’s lightweight and takes the load off my arms and back whilst carrying my baby / toddler. I talk to everyone about this product and I just WISH I had it the first time

Where do I start... I wish I had gotten this months ago. Its so much easier to put on than a carrier, my 1 year old loves facing into me for cuddles then turning him around so he can watch everything around him. Its comfy to wear and looks really trendy. I had previously spent hundreds of dollars on trendy body carriers for bub, only to discover that he absolutely hates being strapped in and constricted (he's also not a fan of the pram as he likes to be able to see what's going on). The hip surfer has finally allowed us to take him out happily and easily. He is a big bubba (only 3 months old) but he can comfortably sit facing outwards at this stage. Honestly one of the most valuable purchases I've made as a new first time mum. Such a good find!!!

My little one likes to breastfeed extremely frequently, so I bought the hipsurfer to help make breastfeeding on the go a little easier. It 100% achieves this - I can walk around shopping centres, breastfeeding while having one of my hands free for pushing the pram, holding a drink, or just anything that takes my fancy! It’s blissful having the freedom of that second hand. However the hipsurfer also helps with meal times. My little one often decides she wants dinner when I’m eating - with the hipsurfer this is so easy! It’s relatively small size means i can be comfortable at the dining table, freely moving one hand to eat my dinner, while she is also feeding. Honestly, the hipsurfer is a game changer for me. I will be buying one for all all baby shower gifts in future.
