I ca easily support him while breastfeeding when I’m out and about, my back pain has gone after 2 weeks of using it instead of carrying his weight without, which I’m so surprised about because the pain felt like it would never leave! I love being able to ditch the pram for in and outs at the shops and he gets so much attention, so does the carrier!

So very helpful for anyone who has a baby wanting up all the time but doesn't want to be constricted. I love that I can hold my baby facing me or facing out, and that my partner can use it too! He loves it as well. So great that it folds compactly and fits under my pram without taking the whole space. Since wearing it I've seen many other mums eyeing it off when we use it. Also, my small reusable coffee mug (like a Yeti mug) fits in the hidden mesh bottle holder 🤗 just saying

We recently received 2 Hipsurfers for our early years settings. These are game chargers! We could not be more grateful for them.
They help to reduce the load on educators bodies when holding children. They also have such handy pockets for all those dummies!

Initially I was going to wait until our daughter was a little older and self-supporting her head before we got a hip surfer, because I (incorrectly) thought that's when we'd start to get the most use. Then the spectacularly 90s purple and teal corduroy version went on sale and I decided to take advantage. I'm so glad we didn't wait and started using it soon as it arrived when she was still only 7 weeks old. It's now our favourite way to feed alfresco. When we're out and about, I don't have to battle with trying to fit her optimal position into whatever (often not feeding friendly) seat is available while she's getting impatient; I still have a hand free for much needed snack/caffeine consumption; and even though I'm standing I'm in a much better position for my back, neck, shoulders, wrists everything! I'm also using it at home- we had friends over for a board game night and I didn't have to leave the table to go sit alone in our usual feeding spot AND I could still roll the dice myself! For everyday impromptu carrying it's so much easier e.g. if I need to go to the bathroom I can just hand her over or put her somewhere safe without having to faff with getting her in/out of a traditional carrier, and if I need to take the surfer off  it's the work of a moment. I'm using it more everyday as our daughter grows and I keep learning new uses for it!

I absolutely love and use my HipSurfer every single day with my active toddler. It is so handy for traveling or day to day. It lets me do quick up and down with my active high energy toddler. The leather quality is amazing, so easy to clean, used it everyday for months and it still looks good as new. I previously own a cheap brand, it doesn't clean as well, is bulky and not as supportive. Also love the washable covers that you can get with the Hipsurfer. Hackerlily is worth its value, highly recommend!

Living interstate with no family help or daycare this has been an absolute game changer for me with my very clingy 18 month old! He is constantly wanting to be held or picked up, at home and at the shops, and I cant tell you how much easier it is to parent my three other children with both my hands and no strain on my back. I have a very clingy 8 month old who likes to be held all day long, but I have nerve damage in my shoulder from carrying previous children, so this has really been fantastic at taking the weight off when holding baby. I also love how quick and easy it is to put on, and that myself and baby don’t get too hot wearing it either, which is an issue I’ve had with different carriers that I used before this, plus it’s so comfortable. Love it!

Good extender

I’ve been eyeing the Hip Surfer from Hacker Lily for over a year, and I’m so glad I finally bought one. Over the Christmas holidays I was in Sydney and saw another mum using it. She absolutely raved about it, and that’s what finally convinced me to take the plunge — and now I completely understand the hype.

I’ve been using the Hackerlily HipSurfer for about a year now and I can honestly say I’m obsessed with it. I genuinely feel like I couldn’t live without it anymore.

My baby uses it almost every day and it has made my life so much easier. I use it for everything, quick errands, travelling, walks, and even daily school drop-offs and pick-ups with the kids. It’s perfect when you need to carry your baby but still stay mobile and hands-free.

The quality is amazing and the design is so well thought out. Every pocket is incredibly useful. I can fit nappies, snacks, sunglasses, water bottles, car keys, and even extra clothes. It’s basically like having a bag and a baby carrier in one.

If you are a grandparent or about to become one, I would definitely recommend the Hackerlily hipsurfer. I bought one 2 years ago & use it weekly when visiting my grandchild. It takes the strain off my neck & shoulders & makes it much easier to handle the
" Nana, up", "Nana, down" toddler stage & also meant I could carry comfortably for longer during the baby stage. I love it so much that I bought one for a friend in the UK recently, as she will be a grandma very soon. It is well constructed and keeps your precious little one, & yourself, feeling secure. Pockets for phone, keys, wipes, nappies etc mean you can go out without more bulky bags. I love it & feel it is a great product.

My baby is 9 months old and is starting to get quite heavy, not to mention, mobile! We love how easy it is to change her position on the HipSurfer, pick up and put down, but also very comfortably walk about town, the shops or home without constantly readjusting her to save our backs/arms. The difference in weight when holding her without the HipSurfer, or even when using our other carriers, is incredible. I’ve managed to potter around town for hours without feeling the usual strain across my shoulders or uneven weight distribution. I’m really looking forward to using it even more in the summer and as she grows.

The hand sanitiser is a cute little touch and so handy to have hanging off my HipSurfer!

So thrilled with this purchased! This would have saved me first time around but at least I get to have the support with my fourth baby! I barely buy new baby products any more but this is a must! So great for school drop offs and pick ups. Stood today at a swimming carnival for hours with baby on hip feeling totally supported. Then he fell asleep! He curled his head into my elbow while the hip surfer supported his bottom and legs. It’s just brilliant. Can’t wait to take this with us for Euro summer this year. Very happy customer. Great gift for a new mama! Love the tan. It’s so nice.
