This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a carrier but I wanted something that allowed me to carry bubba on the hip. My shoulders have been feeling the strain of carrying her. My baby girl loves it. She can cuddle into me and look out of the world. I’m still learning which positioning I like the best but that will come with time. I’m a plus size girly so the extender worked well just make sure if you are a plus size girl to order the extender as well. I didn’t realise I needed it when I first purchased it. Overall I love it so far with baby only being 6 month so interested to see how useful it becomes when she is a toddler.

I used a traditional baby carrier when my baby was little, but she never liked being strapped to me like that. She loves being able to look around to see the world and it relieves the extra pressure and weight on my back.

My daughter is nearly 3 years old but still super clingy with me, never a fan of riding a pram, we got her a babyzen yoyo 2 which mostly just to put bags and shopping on as she never wanted to sit on it, loves to be carried around instead on her ergobaby carrier, which she had already outgrown. I have been looking online comparing products that would be helpful to use with a toddler about 12-14kgs. I have got my eye on the hipsurfer, it was a total game changer, wish I had brought it a lot sooner. It takes the weight off of my back and shoulders, she’s still heavy that doesn’t change the actual fact but it is way manageable and I feel stronger having it on. I find that if I don’t put it high enough and snug enough she weighs double but if I put it on right, it feels like magic. I can’t explain enough how happy I am of this product. So definitely recommend to all mums with babies or toddlers. Thank you for this genius product. 💯

Love having the option of a cover - much more convenient to wash that than the hip surfer if needed!
It’s also a super fun and trendy way to add some pizazz to your hipsurfer!
I just take it off for dad as he prefers plain 🤪

This mat is great! It’s super compact but soft and cleans well with a quick Milton wipe over.
I love how it doesn’t take up a ridiculous amount of space in the nappy bag and isn’t a huge thing to carry when pulling this out to change baby. It’s also easy to fold back down!

Best baby item I ever purchased! Caved and bought this when my daughter was 6 weeks old and cannot be more happy with the HipSurfer, it honestly saved my sore wrists. Our baby loves to contact nap and staying close during the day so this has been the perfect carrier to pop her on while we walk around the house. My husband and I use this every day, and thankful we bought this everytime we use it, especially as baby gets heavier by the week.

The side pockets are super versatile, I carry my phone and house keys when I'm out, or the TV remote when I'm at home. We keep a burp cloth in the large seat storage so we're always ready for any accidents.

It's also proven to be amazing at social gatherings as its easy to pop baby on and off the seat to play or to feed. She's also fallen asleep on this as well as I walk or sway.

Struggled to get the right fit but had a video chat to try get it right. Not to bad after that! The next thing for me was on the original, I couldn’t access the slimline pocket for phone etc. as I am a size 6 it wrapped around my body and I deemed the pocket not functional, not being able to access the pocket with only one had as you need to keep one on baby at all times. Besides that I suggest you spend the additional money and get the one with the larger pocket. Even though it didn’t work for me, I still watch all the stories on Instagram as I just love the product idea and the lady behind it! Xx

I absolutely love my hipsurfer and just wish I'd bought one earlier when I started experiencing back pain from carrying my bub. With the hipsurfer, it's now so easy to carry her around the house and out and about too.

We recently walked 1.6km to and from the local health centre, with bub on the hipsurfer, and I had absolutely no pain afterwards. She really enjoyed being up high and seeing the world from a very different angle compared to when she's in the pram.

Also, I purchased the sand vegan leather hipsurfer so that it wouldn't get as hot as the black one when carrying my baby outdoors in summer.

Honestly this is worth the money! Makes school drop offs with my little one in tow sooo much easier! This is by far the best accessory!

To be honest, I initially bought a cheap Chinese knock-off. However, I tried the authentic Hackerlily hip surfer at a baby expo and it really showed the quality difference. The seat on the knock-off version sags down quite a bit compared with the firm support that the Hackerlily provides. My arms are less strained with the real hip surfer which means I can hold my baby for much longer. Not to mention the useful storage space. The knock-off has styrofoam in the front bag which is the only thing supporting the seat, meaning you can't use it as storage.

Overall, the Hackerlily hip surfer is well worth the investment (especially since I got it with an expo deal). It provides great, long lasting support that relieves my wrists from excessive stress, which is a life-saver with a squirmy baby like mine.
