Lifesaver

You have no idea how much the hipsurfer has helped my back. I can go out to do shopping and just everyday living without stressing as much on how much I need to bring. I am also able to hold my daughter a lot longer and she definitely enjoys being in it, especially her being so curious about the world we love the fact that we can change her position anytime and with no hassle.

Absolute lifesaver

We love our Hackerlily hipsurfer. So handy when doing trips to the shops and when we're flying. I'm a single mamma so I already have my hands full so this help so much. Look how much luggage I can easily handle on my own.

Quality

I have a cheap amazon hipster made in china so was hesitant on buying a hackerlily as the other one ‘did the job’. Oh my goodness, I see what I have been missing!! This is such great quality and very well thought out. Love mine!

Helpful for busy mums

Our hip surfer has easily become an essential every day item we use. It’s kept in the car so we never forget it. We use it for day trips to places like the markets or theme park, but also really helpful when we need to quickly run into Coles. We’ve used it for travelling on the plane as well and it’s super easy and helpful when flying solo

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

Wow, this is a game changer! Before we talk comfort, let’s talk storage and practicality 11/10! Being able to hold items for a nappy change, phone, keys, cash, snacks allowing you to be hands free is INSANE!

Now for comfort, the ease of putting on the Hip Surfer is amazing and I can instantly feel the support it gives to my back and hips.

The clever way it distributes the weight of your child is a credit to the design. Such a compact piece that you will find your child asking to use!

Well done on creating such a practical product.

Hip surfer for the win

Love our hip surfer and we use it everyday since we have received it. The other three carriers have not seen this kind of use and we are so glad for this investment. Can’t wait to travel with it soon for bub’s first flight.

Lightweight, handy and a lifesaver!

I love my Hip Surfer! My 16-month-old is getting heavy, and with a bad back and a wrist injury, I’ve really struggled to carry him comfortably. This has already made such a difference. It feels so much easier on my body, and my toddler is happy to be up and close with me without all the strain. I also love how practical it is; lightweight, simple to use, and the perfect size to tuck under the pram so it’s always handy for quick trips or outings. The quality and design are excellent, and I can see myself using this for a long time. I’d definitely recommend it to any parent who needs a bit of extra support carrying their little one.

The carrier that works for both kids!

Honestly, the Hackerlily Hipsurfer has been such a lifesaver! It’s easily in my top 3 must have items for every parent. I use it every single day with both my 11-month-old and my 3-year-old, and it works brilliantly for both. Daycare drop-offs are no longer a juggling act, I just pop it on in 5 seconds (literally) I’m good to go. No more fighting with straps and clips like a traditional carrier. You feel so well supported around the lumbar region. Plus, the storage is amazing. I can throw in my phone, keys, and even a spare nappy and wipes without needing an extra bag. It’s one of those things I wish I had from day one of parenting. Total game changer and I can’t stop showing it off at all my mum-outings. Shipping was super fast too. Support local and support another mum who’s making a great impact in the baby industry!

Back pain while holding my baby is a thing of the past!

I have a lot of back issues that have been lifelong and now that I am on my 4th baby, I am finding that the back pain is a lot more constant. Flare ups are a regular thing for me unfortunately and add in a lack of core strength, I am a ticking time bomb for my next flare. My 17 month old LOVES to be held and I spend most of my day carrying her on my hip or in the baby carrier - unfortunately I was starting to notice that I was getting tingling arms when wearing my baby carrier and I think it was due to my daughter’s weight pulling on my shoulders and it was also causing back pain which definitely isn’t ideal. I had been a fan of Hackerlily for a long time but wasn’t sure if it was the right product for me but I thought why not give it a go as it was something that I didn’t need to wear on my shoulders. As soon as I tried the HipSurfer on for the first time, I felt a weight (literally haha) lifted - I was two weeks post a huge flare up of my back and it was the first time in those two weeks that I wasn’t stressing over the pain to hold her, it felt comfortable to hold her and the pain was a distant memory. I was shocked. The HipSurfer helps keep me upright rather than slouching and helps give me the support around my core that I desperately need at the moment. I get pain in my upper thighs just under my hips also but while I am holding my daughter when wearing the HipSurfer, I can’t feel it - the pressure that is taken off my lower back, hips and thighs is actually insane. I ended up with De Quervain’s, after my third daughter, in my left wrist (which is the side I mostly hold my children on) and had noticed it was starting to hurt again recently while carrying my 4th daughter. When she is on the HipSurfer, I can comfortably rest my wrist while still holding her securely. Laura’s design of the HipSurfer is truly game changing and it is an absolutely beautiful product and fantastic quality. The HipSurfer has 100% extended the time I will be able to carry my daughter over the next few years and as my last baby, that’s something I am even more grateful for. If you have been on the fence about getting a HipSurfer, please take this as your sign that it is worth it - the relief I feel when holding my daughter now and not being scared because of the pain, is incredible.

Sanity and arm saver

I have been looking at the hip surfer for ages and decided to bite the bullet and just get it worst-case il just return it if it's no good.... well from ordering it to it being on my doorstep it was less than 72 hours including the weekend. Everytime I leave the house I grab my hip surfer before the children. It's so convenient that it goes over any outfit dress, jeans, pj's. I have put 2 nappies, small pack of wipes and disposable bags in the seat compartment and in the bag section I can put my phone, car keys, lip balm and a dummy with extra space still. It seriously is a life saver. Thank you

Arm-saver! Amazing customer service!

Thank you for an amazing product and an even more amazing customer experience! Laura was incredibly helpful when an issue arose with my order, and really made the process seamless. I’ve been using my HipSurfer with my 2 year-old after a shoulder injury, and it’s really helped with managing him on outings, especially when I have my 6 year-old to wrangle as well. I love the pockets which are great for this age - I don’t have to take an additional bag out. We will be taking this with us on our travels later this year, for sure. Thank you so much for saving this Mama’s arm (and coffee when it’s still warm)!

I highly recommend - such a game changer!!

I’m compelled to share my life-changing experience with this incredible baby carrier, as it has genuinely transformed my journey as a mother! This phenomenal product is the only baby carrier that I’ve used that doesn’t hurt my back, and I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. After the birth of my second baby, I suffered from debilitating back pain that persisted even when sitting, standing, or laying down. Unfortunately, the epidural I received during the birth of my third baby exacerbated this issue. However, my third baby’s love for being carried led me to discover the HisSurfer online, and it has been a game-changer! I can now carry my baby for hours without experiencing any discomfort or pain in my back. The exceptional support it provides is truly empowering, and I feel an incredible sense of freedom. If you haven’t yet discovered this amazing product, I highly recommend it – it’s an absolute must-have!

The Hipsurfer has officially become my third arm.

It’s perfect for carrying my little koala baby around without ruining my outfits or wrestling with a full baby carrier every time. Super easy to pop on and off and the storage? Game changer. I can fit my phone, keys, nappies and wipes without needing to carry around a nappy bag. Loving the pink and red combo as a mama finding her pink again postpartum 🦩💖

The GOAT of Baby Carriers

We used an Ergo carrier with our first born but it didn’t quite stick. We kept the carrier for our second one but was wondering if there was a better alternative. Luckily, I came across an ad - and while I was tempted to get cheaper alternatives from Amazon - I was convinced Hacker Lily’s was designed and made much better. Glad I trusted my instincts as this is THE GOAT. Although my husband wasn’t too keen at first, he quickly became a fan stating it didn’t hurt his back unlike the Ergo carrier. We sold the Ergo and never looked back. The best features of the Hip Surfer are - (1) no back pain (2) super easy to put on and take off - you don’t have to fiddle with various straps 3) baby comes on and off quickly - we love the flexibility of being able to pass baby between us when we’re on the go (4) baby is very comfortable - not squished in the carrier when rear-facing, and has much more range of motion when facing forward (5) ample storage including a bottle pouch. We have had so many people stopping us to ask what the product is because it looks so awesome - dads at a birthday party, at a kids festival, etc. It was very handy when our baby had to stay in hospital and had to be held all the time. Nurses and doctors (even those who didn’t have kids said it was very cool.). It’s so awesome that Dad can rock it anywhere, too. We haven’t been using our pram when going out as my husband prefers it for the convenience and easy of moving through large crowds and difficult terrains like on a hike! But my favourite use for it would have to be for rocking my baby to sleep! It is a MUST HAVE for all parents! Bonus points for amazing customer service! Thanks for your clever product!

Innovative great quality product

The Hackerlily hipseat in grey fabric is super comfy to wear and well made. I couldn’t be happier with how comfortable this is and amazingly how long I can carry my baby for without strain on my back and arms. Had an initial hiccup with my order but the customer service was second to none and I have no reservations in recommending Hackerlily. I have told my family and friends with babies and toddlers to do themselves a favour and get the Hackerlily hipseat

Hackerlily HipSurfer Review: Hands-down the most useful thing I didn’t know I needed

Let’s talk about that phase: when your baby AND toddler are both in the koala bear stage. My arms were wrecked. My back was over it. Enter: the Hackerlily HipSurfer. How did I survive without this? I use it for quick errands, daycare pickups, breastfeeding support, and even around the house when my babies need comfort or a feed while I'm cooking dinner. It folds down small, fits my husband and me easily, and the toy loop? Genius. No more lost dummies.

It’s strap-free, which means you don't feel like you’re suiting up for a hike to carry your kid to the letterbox. Bonus points: it is husband-proof. It’s not just practical, it’s stylish enough that I don’t feel like a walking nappy bag.

The verdict? If you’re in the thick of baby/toddler season and want to save your back (and your sanity), the Hackerlily HipSurfer is 100% worth the hype. It’s not just another baby product; it makes your life easier.

A Godsend!

Postpartum for me was rife with complications, including a fractured sacrum. The Hipsurfer has really helped to take the pressure off and relieve some of my pain, whilst also giving me another way to bond with my daughter. The features are also really practical. I can’t wait to purchase the new covers coming soon to match my outfits!

So glad I bought this and awesome customer service

I was toying with the idea of buying this for a while. My 12 month old is 12 kilograms and I couldn’t hold him for more than a couple of minutes. I’ve had my hip surfer for two weeks and we’ve used it almost every day. We’ve been to the zoo as well and I was able to carry my son around for half an hour with no difficulties. I think it’s a great option to have compared to just a pram so he can get the 360 degree view. He also really isn’t a fan of a traditional carrier so this has been such a great solution. I also just use it around the house when he’s getting a bit cranky and wants to be picked up. He loves watching me make his breakfast or my coffee in the morning.

I was most unsure because of the price and wasn’t sure if we would use but I think it’s worth it because now I look forward to picking him up and carrying him around to show him things. Before it felt so hard and my arm got sore so quickly that I had to put him down within a few minutes. So so glad I bought it!

The customer service has also been great. There was a mix up with my order and I emailed them. Laura was really apologetic and sent the correct item out express post so really happy with their service ☺️ Thanks again guys!

Life Saver for Busy Mums!

As a mum of two under 3, I feel like I’ve permanently got at least one child on my hip. The Hackerlily Hip Surfer has genuinely been a game-changer for our routine. It’s stylish, practical, and actually makes it easier to carry one child while wrangling the other or even our dog!

The two big stand outs are the way my hip surfer immediately relieves the strain on my arms and shoulders. It supports my toddler or baby’s weight on my hip! This means I can cuddle/carry him/her for longer without my arms dying!

The other main stand out for me is the amount I can fit into my hip surfer! Say goodbye to bags that just fall off your shoulders or get in the way, the pockets in my Hipsurfer can fit; my wallet, phone, keys, hand cream, lip balm, nappies, change of clothes, Teether, change mat, travel flask and the accessories that clip on are so handy also as I can fit baby wipes, nappy bags and hand sanitizer!

I wish I found this sooner!

I got the Hackerlily Hipsurfer for my third baby, and honestly, I just wish I’d found it sooner! It made carrying my (very heavy!) little one so much easier and took a huge load off my shoulders, arms, and hips. It’s comfortable, practical, and such a relief for anyone doing lots of carrying. Total game-changer!

Can I gush for a minute?

There’s one thing better than supporting Aussie women-owned businesses: when the products you buy are perfection!

Honestly I’ve had my carrier for two days and I’m already in love. My first child was in a brace for hip dysplasia for nearly a year, and carrying her was one of the hardest parts. I had a hip carrier but it was a cheap nothing brand and it wasn’t good at all.

My second has just gone into a rhino brace at 3 months and I immediately ordered this when I saw it recommended on a hip dysplasia page. Oh my gosh what a game changer!!! I can hold him with just one hand now, without plastic digging into me or squeezing him too tightly. And the bonus of using it as a feeding support, and being able to fit things in the pocket…it’s amazing.

If you have a hippy baby or bad back, I highly recommend.

PS customer support was great too - the founder supports the hip dysplasia community and replied to me directly when I messaged on instagram. Fabulous.

A necessity for every Mum!

I absolutely love our hip surfer! I have 5 children and I wish I had one for all of them! My youngest girl is 7 months and loves being carried everywhere so this has helped me so much! I am more comfortable and she is too!
I love its multi function use! She has fallen asleep on it (and looks so peaceful), fed laying on it and in general just loves being close but also having the ability to look around.
Would recommend to every Mum!

Great but not perfect

Great but not perfect
First off the Hacklerlily is a great product. It is great being able to fit 1 change of clothes and a nappy. In my opion the cover is a waste of time (I have the old version pre leather, they may have fixed it). The cover moves independetly of the carrier making your kid slide on the carrier. I liked it much better once I removed it. I Have the Ergobaby Alta aswell. I prefer this (despite the lack of storage). Simply put it is more stable for the child. The angle is better(steeper) so your kid leans/slides towards you. Because the storage has plastic suport, it is a bit flexable, My 9kg (10month) kid doesn't bend it much, but my 13kg (2yrs) bends it a enough to notice. The result is that I have to put a lot more effort to stop my 2yr from sliding off. I do not have the problem with the Ergo Baby. (I don't know if the new ones have a better angle) However it is nice having 2 Carriers, I often carry both kids as it is easier than dealing with a pram. I do reccomend it, If you prefer storage for stuff, get the hackerlily, if you want a more stable base for you kids, try something elso
