Thanks for wanting to share Hackerlily. These terms explain how our affiliate and referral program works. By applying to or taking part in the program, you agree to them.

The program is run by Hackerlily, ABN 70 653 637 702, PO Box 1157, Sanctuary Cove QLD 4212, Australia.

1. Who can join

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • The program is open to residents of Australia only.
  • We review every application. We can approve or decline any application without giving a reason.
  • When you apply, you must tell us where and how you plan to share Hackerlily, for example your Instagram, TikTok, website, blog or community group. Applications without this won't be approved.

2. How you can promote Hackerlily

You can share your referral link or code with your own audience, on channels you own or run, in an honest way. That includes your social media, website, blog, newsletter, and conversations with people you know.

You must not:

  • post your link or code on coupon, voucher, deal or cashback websites
  • bid on "Hackerlily", "HipSurfer" or any similar or misspelt brand terms in Google, Meta or any other paid ads
  • use cookie stuffing, pop-ups, hidden links, iframes or any other method that sets a referral cookie without the customer knowingly clicking your link
  • spam people, or post your link in groups, comments or forums where you aren't a genuine participant
  • pretend to be Hackerlily or to speak on our behalf, or create pages, accounts or ads that look like ours
  • make claims about our products that we don't make ourselves. In particular, the HipSurfer is not hands-free, and it does not treat, cure or prevent any medical condition
  • refer your own orders, or orders from your own household

Please clearly disclose that you earn commission when you share your link or code, in line with Australian advertising rules.

3. When commission is earned

  • Commission is only earned on sales that you genuinely generated through your own promotion, as shown by our tracking and records.
  • No commission is payable on orders that use a discount code we did not issue to you. That includes site-wide sale codes, email or SMS codes, and codes from other affiliates.
  • No commission is payable on orders that are cancelled, refunded, returned or charged back.
  • If two sources could have referred the same order, our records decide which one gets the credit.

4. Peak sale periods

  • No commission is payable on any order placed during a Hackerlily peak sale period. This applies even if the order came through your link or used your code.
  • Peak sale periods include Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Boxing Day and post-Christmas sales, end of financial year sales, Mother's Day sales, Click Frenzy, and any other site-wide sale we run.
  • We'll email you the start and end dates of each peak sale period at least 7 days before it starts.
  • If we run a sale at short notice, we'll tell you when it starts, and this clause applies from the time we tell you.
  • Your link and code keep working during a peak sale period. Commission starts again on orders placed after the period ends.

5. Review, holds and reversals

  • All commissions are held for 45 days from the order date before they can be paid. This covers our 30-day returns window.
  • We review referred orders before we pay them. We can ask you to show how you generated a sale, for example links to your posts and screenshots of your referral link being shared.
  • We can withhold, reverse or cancel any commission if:
    • we can't verify that you generated the sale
    • you don't give us the evidence we ask for within 7 days
    • we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or misused the program.
  • We'll act reasonably when we make these decisions. Our decision on whether a commission is payable is final.

6. Payouts

  • Payouts are made monthly by PayPal, once your approved balance reaches at least $50.
  • The PayPal account must be in your name.
  • You are responsible for any tax on your earnings.

7. Ending your participation

  • You can leave the program at any time.
  • We can suspend or close your affiliate account at any time. If we close it because you broke these terms, any unpaid commission is forfeited.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Changes apply from the date they're posted, not to commission earned before that date. If you keep promoting Hackerlily after a change, you agree to the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
